| Elementary Mats are designed for the little tykes. Elementary Mats are constructed of 2" open celled Polyurethane foam also known as poly foam. Elementary Mats are designed for the Elementary students (approximately 2-8 years old). The Elementary Mats is a soft foam core mat that is ideal for beginning gymnastics, tumbling, and movement education. With the Elementary Mats "squishy" foam core the children feel confidence and safety while learning new skills. Elementary Mats are manufactured as a standard V2 (Velcro on 2 short ends). Velcro options are available on our Elementary Mats. To order Elementary Mats with additional Velcro attachment please add $1.50 per foot. For the older students needing more confidence and safety, we recommend the Elementary Deluxe Mat. Custom size Elementary Mats are also available. | Elementary Deluxe Mats are manufactured with a dual foam core. Elementary Deluxe Mats folds in every 2' panels. The top layer of foam is 1-1/8" soft polyurethane foam and the bottom layer of foam is 1-3/8" cross-linked poly foam. On the Elementary Deluxe Mats the soft foam allows students to feel secure while learning more challenging skills that require a soft landing. The Elementary Deluxe Mats are constructed with the firm foam on the bottom which offers the padding to prevent "bottom" out effect. Elementary Deluxe Mats are manufacture with Velcro on ends only.
